And Apollo is reported to have dropped its own built-in warmup feature entirely, pushing its users toward third-party tools — a useful reminder that "built-in warmup" isn't a permanent feature of every all-in-one platform. We could not independently confirm the exact date or reasoning behind Apollo's change from a primary Apollo source, so treat that detail as reported, not verified firsthand.
Published guidance on daily volume varies more than most vendors admit — some sources cap fully-warmed mailboxes at 20–25/day, others claim 50–100/day is safe post-ramp. The spread exists because safe volume depends on domain age, mailbox provider, list quality, and how aggressive your ramp was, not just a fixed number. One number is not in dispute: Microsoft's roughly 1,000-email/day-to-Microsoft-domains DMARC-alignment threshold is meaningfully lower than Google's 5,000/day line. This matters most for agencies: if you onboard a new client every few weeks, a 4–8 week warmup cycle per new domain is often the actual bottleneck to scaling client work — not sales, not capacity. Pre-warmed infrastructure removes that bottleneck at the cost of buying reputation you didn't build yourself, which is a real trade-off, not a free lunch.
