Close CRM Pricing 2026: Plans, Add-ons & Real Cost

GenFlows Team · · 9 min read

TL;DR

  • Four plans, priced per user: Solo $19 monthly or $9 annual, Essentials $49 or $35, Growth $109 or $99, Scale $149 or $139.
  • The plan decides your outbound tooling. Workflows, bulk email and the power dialer start on Growth. The predictive dialer, custom objects and role-based access are Scale only.
  • Calling and SMS are billed on top at usage rates, and US texting needs carrier registration. The seat price is not the whole bill.
  • Monthly billing costs the most on Essentials (about 40% more per seat than annual) and the least on Scale (about 7% more).
  • Trial and guarantee: 14 days free with no credit card, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee on the pricing page.

Close is a CRM built for teams that sell by phone and email, which makes its pricing different from a general-purpose CRM. The per-seat price is straightforward. What is harder to work out is which plan an outbound team actually needs, and what calling, texting and AI usage add on top. This guide covers every plan, what is locked to each tier, the usage costs, and what 3-, 10- and 25-seat teams really pay.

If you are still deciding between platforms, read our Close vs HubSpot comparison for outbound teams first. This post is the pricing reference for Close.

Sourcing note: plan prices, feature gates, trial, guarantee and usage rates come from Close's pricing page and help center, read on 30 September 2026. We checked the billing toggle directly, so the monthly and annual figures below are confirmed. Prices change, so verify before you buy. Cost tables are our own arithmetic and are labelled that way. Anything we could not confirm is marked (directional) or left out.

The Short Answer

Most outbound teams that dial and run email sequences land on Growth: $99 per user per month billed annually, or $109 billed monthly. It is the first plan with workflows, bulk email and the power dialer. Essentials suits small teams that only need a shared inbox and manual calling. Scale is for teams that need the predictive dialer, custom objects or role-based permissions. A 10-seat Growth team pays $990 a month on annual billing before calling and SMS usage.

Close Plans and Prices

Plan Monthly billing (per user) Annual billing (per user / mo) AI credits per user / mo Best for
Solo $19 $9 500 One founder or rep
Essentials $49 $35 1,000 Small teams, manual outreach
Growth (most popular) $109 $99 1,500 Outbound teams with automation and a power dialer
Scale $149 $139 2,000 Larger teams needing predictive dialing and permissions

Solo is capped at one user and 10,000 leads. Close's help center says discounts exist for 10 or more seats but we could not find the amount, so ask sales if you are above that size (directional). Close replaced its older Base, Startup, Professional and Enterprise names with this structure; the help center maps Solo to Base, Essentials to Startup, Growth to Professional and Scale to Enterprise.

What Each Plan Unlocks

Feature Solo Essentials Growth Scale
Team collaboration No Yes Yes Yes
Bulk email, tracking, scheduling No No Yes Yes
Workflows and SMS in workflows No No Yes Yes
Power dialer No No Yes Yes
Predictive dialer No No No Yes
Connected email accounts 3 3 10 10
Advanced reports and leaderboards No No Yes Yes
Custom objects, role-based access, call coaching No No No Yes
Call recording retention 30 days 30 days 90 days Unlimited

API access is on every plan, and calling and SMS are available on every plan on a usage basis. Custom fields are capped at 250 across the board.

Essentials is a trap for outbound. It has no bulk email, no workflows and no power dialer, so a team doing real volume outgrows it almost immediately. Growth is the realistic starting point. If you run high-volume cold email, the sending itself usually belongs in a dedicated tool; see why CRM sequences and cold email tools differ.

The Costs on Top of the Seat

Item Cost Notes
Outbound calling About $0.02 / minute Varies by country and number type. Calls round up to the next minute, so 70 seconds bills as 2.
Phone numbers From about $1 / month Price varies by country and type; charged when added.
SMS Per unit at carrier rates A unit is 140 characters, or 33 with emoji or non-English characters. US MMS is $0.03 out, $0.01 in.
US SMS registration (A2P 10DLC) $4 to $44 one-time, plus $1.50 to $2 / month Low-volume $4 + $1.50/mo, standard $44 + $1.50/mo, sole proprietor $4 + $2/mo. Campaign verification adds $15 once.
Data enrichment $0.05 per field Also draws on AI credits for some features.
Call Assistant (AI call notes) $50 / month + $0.02 / min Enabled per billing account, not per user.
Extra organization $50 / month each Growth and Scale include one secondary organization. All linked organizations share one plan and billing cycle.
Extra AI credits From $20 for 1,200 credits Tiered up to $10,000 for 1,000,000. Only voice agents, enrichment and auto-updates consume credits.

AI credits are pooled at the account level, reset monthly and do not roll over. Notetaker, chat, AI search and summaries do not consume credits. Third-party sites quote slightly different per-minute and per-SMS rates (directional); Close's own figures above are the ones to budget on. What Teams Really Pay

Users Plan Annual billing / mo Monthly billing / mo
3 Growth $297 $327
10 Growth $990 $1,090
10 Scale $1,390 $1,490
25 Growth $2,475 $2,725
25 Scale $3,475 $3,725

These are our arithmetic (users times per-user price) and cover seats only. Calling, SMS, numbers, enrichment and add-ons come on top.

As a usage illustration, ten reps each making five hours of calls a month is 3,000 minutes, roughly $60 at the $0.02 rate. That is small next to seat cost, which is why the plan tier matters more than usage for most teams. On Growth, monthly billing costs about 10% more than annual; on Essentials the gap is about 40%, and on Scale about 7%.

Trial and guarantee. Close offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card, and the trial includes $5 of calling and enrichment credit. Trial AI credits (1,000) do not carry over to a paid plan. The pricing page also lists a 30-day money-back guarantee; we could not confirm whether it covers annual plans and first purchases alike, so ask before committing to a year (directional). Monthly plans can be changed or cancelled any time, while annual cancellations take effect at the end of the term.

How Close's Pricing Model Differs From HubSpot

  • Sales-only vs a platform. Close is a single sales-focused product where dialers, workflows and calling live in the plan. HubSpot Sales Hub is one hub in a larger platform, priced by edition and hub. Our HubSpot Sales Hub pricing guide covers that side.
  • Onboarding fees. Close's pricing page lists no onboarding fee. HubSpot's upper tiers carry mandatory one-time onboarding charges, detailed in that guide.
  • Usage billing. Close passes calling and SMS through at usage rates. Compare that against your call volume rather than seat price alone.
  • Marketing and service. Close does not try to be your marketing or service platform. If you need those in one system, the comparison shifts. See our wider CRM roundup for B2B outbound.

Which Plan Should You Pick?

  • One founder testing outbound: Solo on annual billing at $9 is the cheapest way to get calling and email in one place.
  • 2 to 5 reps doing real outbound: Growth. You need workflows, bulk email and the power dialer, and you avoid outgrowing Essentials in a month.
  • 10+ reps, phone-heavy: Scale for the predictive dialer, custom objects and permissions, but only if your dialing volume justifies about $40 more per seat than Growth on annual billing.
  • Thinking about switching CRMs: budget for the move as well as the licence. Our CRM migration checklist and cost-per-meeting budget guide help size that.

Yes. It is 14 days with no credit card required, and it includes $5 of calling and enrichment credit. The trial's 1,000 AI credits do not carry over when you move to a paid plan.

Which Close plan includes the power dialer and predictive dialer?

The power dialer starts on Growth. The predictive dialer is available only on Scale. Solo and Essentials have neither, and neither has workflows.

What does calling and texting cost in Close?

Most outbound calls run about $0.02 per minute and phone numbers start at about $1 a month, both varying by country and number type. Texts are billed per 140-character unit at carrier rates, and US SMS needs A2P 10DLC registration, which costs $4 to $44 one-time plus $1.50 to $2 a month.

Can I cancel Close or get a refund?

Monthly plans can be upgraded, downgraded or cancelled at any time. Annual cancellations take effect at the end of the billing term. The pricing page lists a 30-day money-back guarantee, but check its exact scope with Close before buying an annual plan.

Do I need to buy extra AI credits?

Not necessarily. Each plan includes 500 to 2,000 pooled credits per user a month, and Notetaker, chat, AI search and summaries do not use them. Voice agents, enrichment and auto-updates do. Extra credits start at $20 a month for 1,200.
