HeyReach vs lemlist: LinkedIn + Email Compared (2026)

GenFlows Team · · 7 min read

TL;DR

  • One team, email plus LinkedIn in one tool: lemlist. It lists native cold email and lemwarm on every plan, and LinkedIn automation from the $109/month Multichannel plan ($87 billed yearly).
  • Agencies and many LinkedIn senders: HeyReach. It bills per LinkedIn sender ($79/month on Growth, $64 billed yearly) and offers Agency ($999/month) and Unlimited ($2,999/month) bundles with white-label.
  • HeyReach does not send cold email itself. Pair it with Instantly or Smartlead, both of which it integrates with.
  • Close CRM: lemlist lists a Close integration; HeyReach does not. Both list HubSpot, Clay and Zapier.
  • Treat LinkedIn limits as conservative defaults. Help-center guidance suggests roughly 20 to 25 connection requests a day per account (directional).

HeyReach and lemlist both promise to automate LinkedIn outreach, but they come at it from opposite ends. HeyReach is a LinkedIn-first tool built to run many sender accounts at once. lemlist started as a cold email platform and added LinkedIn, SMS and calling to it. Which is better depends on how many LinkedIn accounts you run and whether you want email in the same tool.

We have covered cost in HeyReach pricing and lemlist pricing, and compared the wider field in our LinkedIn automation roundup. This post is the direct head-to-head.

Sourcing note: prices and integrations come from HeyReach's and lemlist's own pricing and integration pages, read in October 2026. LinkedIn limits and lemlist's LinkedIn architecture come from help-center snippets and third-party reviews, so they are marked (directional). Confirm everything on the live pages before you buy.

The Short Answer

Pick lemlist if one team wants cold email and LinkedIn steps in the same sequence, with built-in warm-up and a lead database. Pick HeyReach if you manage several LinkedIn senders, run outreach for clients, or want a unified inbox and white-label. If you already send email with Instantly or Smartlead, HeyReach slots in beside them and you avoid paying for a second email engine.

Pricing: Per Sender vs Per User

HeyReach charges for each connected LinkedIn account, not for teammates, VAs or clients. Growth is $79 per sender per month, $72 on quarterly billing and $64 on yearly. Agency is $999/month for a bundle that lists 25 senders (the page also shows a 50-sender option without clear pricing), and Unlimited is $2,999/month with a fair-use cap of 300 senders. Agency and Unlimited bring your own proxies and add white-label; extra white-labels on Unlimited cost $500 each.

lemlist prices by plan and user. Email is $69/month ($55 yearly) and lists unlimited users and senders with 50,000 emails a month. Multichannel is $109/month ($87 yearly) per user, with 5 email senders per user, and adds LinkedIn automation, SMS and a dialer. Quarterly billing saves 10% and yearly 20%.

Worked example. One person running one LinkedIn account plus email: lemlist Multichannel at $109/month is a single bill. The same setup on HeyReach is $79 for the sender plus a separate email tool. At five LinkedIn senders HeyReach Growth is $395/month; the Agency bundle at $999 only wins at larger sender counts or when you need white-label.

LinkedIn Automation: Where They Differ

HeyReach is built around multi-account LinkedIn. Every sender gets a dedicated residential proxy, campaigns can rotate across senders, and the unified inbox and workspaces/permissions are included from Growth. Voice notes are included.

lemlist runs LinkedIn through a browser extension according to its own content and third-party reviews (directional), and one review reports sequences pausing when the laptop sleeps. For multiple profiles, lemlist's help center points to separate seats and Chrome profiles and warns that switching profiles can break campaign steps (directional). That is fine for one or two senders and awkward beyond that.

Daily limits

Help-center guidance suggests HeyReach allows up to 40 connection requests a day, with 25 recommended for a warmed account and about 200 a week, and lemlist recommends 20 invites, 30 profile visits and 30 messages a day (directional). Whichever tool you use, stay conservative; see our guide to LinkedIn outreach limits and account safety.

Cold Email: lemlist Has It, HeyReach Does Not

lemlist includes native cold email, lemwarm warm-up and deliverability protections on every plan, sending through Google, Microsoft or SMTP. HeyReach has no native email sending; it integrates with Instantly, Smartlead and EmailBison, and can find verified emails through enrichment credits. If email is your main channel, compare lemlist against sender-only tools in Instantly vs lemlist, and see cold email vs LinkedIn outreach for channel mix.

CRM and Stack Fit: HubSpot, Close, Clay

Both tools list HubSpot, Clay and Zapier. lemlist also lists Close; HeyReach does not, so Close teams need Zapier, webhooks or the API. For setup detail see HeyReach + HubSpot, lemlist + HubSpot and HeyReach + Close. In either case, route replies into your CRM as tasks and deal updates rather than leaving them in the outreach tool.

Watch out: both pricing pages have inconsistencies (HeyReach calls its entry plan Growth and Starter; lemlist lists unlimited users on Email but per-user on Multichannel). Confirm seat rules with the vendor before committing a team.

Which Should You Choose?

  • Solo founder or small team, email-led: lemlist Multichannel.
  • Agency or 3+ LinkedIn senders: HeyReach, plus Instantly or Smartlead for email.
  • Close CRM shop: lemlist for a listed integration, or HeyReach via webhooks.
  • HubSpot shop: either; decide on sender count.
