TL;DR
- One or two accounts: Waalaxy. It lists €19 to €69 per user per month, and it includes native cold email on its top plan.
- Agencies and many senders: HeyReach. It bills per LinkedIn sender, publishes flat Agency ($999/mo) and Unlimited ($2,999/mo) tiers, and offers white-label and free client seats.
- The old “extension vs cloud” gap is gone. Waalaxy says it moved fully to the cloud on 1 July 2026 and removed its Chrome extension.
- Only Waalaxy publishes daily limits (100 invites a day, 200 a week on Advanced and Business). HeyReach says only “safe usage levels”.
- Neither lists Close CRM. Both list HubSpot; plan on Zapier, webhooks or the API for Close.
HeyReach and Waalaxy both automate LinkedIn outreach, but they are built for different buyers. Waalaxy sells a per-user plan to individuals and small teams. HeyReach is designed around running many LinkedIn accounts at once, which is why agencies tend to pick it. Which is cheaper and safer depends on how many accounts you run and what else sits in your stack.
We already covered cost in the HeyReach pricing and Waalaxy pricing guides, and compared four tools in our LinkedIn automation roundup. This post is the direct head-to-head.
Sourcing note: details come from HeyReach's and Waalaxy's own pricing, home, integrations and help-center pages, read in October 2026. Some pages were read through a summarizing fetch, so confirm prices and limits on the live pages before buying. Claims from competitors' blogs and review sites are marked (directional) or left out.
The Short Answer
Choose Waalaxy if you run one or two LinkedIn accounts, want the lowest entry price and would like email follow-ups from the same tool. Choose HeyReach if you manage several senders, work for clients, or want voice notes, a unified inbox and Clay in the stack. In the middle, around three to five accounts, work out cost per active account on both before deciding, because the pricing models differ.

Pricing: Per User vs Per Sender
Waalaxy charges per user: €19 (Pro), €49 (Advanced) and €69 (Business) a month on monthly billing, with 50% off for yearly billing and 20% off for quarterly. HeyReach charges per sender, meaning per connected LinkedIn account: $79 a month on Growth, $71 on quarterly billing and $63 on yearly billing. Teammates, VAs and clients do not take paid seats on HeyReach.
That difference matters. Waalaxy's quotas are per team member, so a colleague's actions do not use yours, but each additional person is another paid seat. On HeyReach you pay for LinkedIn accounts only, which is cheaper once you have a team of people sharing a fleet of senders. At one or two accounts, Waalaxy is the cheaper tool on list price. For the full plan breakdowns, see our Waalaxy pricing guide and HeyReach pricing guide.
Cloud vs Extension: What Changed in 2026
Until recently the standard comparison was that Waalaxy ran as a browser extension while cloud tools ran on servers. Waalaxy's help center now says it is fully cloud: it runs at app.waalaxy.com, campaigns run in the background whatever your browser is doing, and the Chrome extension has been removed from the Chrome Web Store. The article is dated 1 July 2026. A LinkedIn account is still required, and importing prospects and launching campaigns needs a paid plan. An optional extension called Alien Copilot speeds up imports but is not required.
Older articles, including competitor blogs, still describe Waalaxy as extension-based. Those are out of date, so treat them as (directional). For HeyReach, the pages we read do not state its architecture. Its Growth plan is described as including a dedicated residential proxy per sender, while Agency and Unlimited customers bring their own proxies. If this matters to you, ask HeyReach support and test during the trial.
Limits and Account Safety
Waalaxy publishes its quotas. On Advanced and Business it lists 100 invitations a day, capped at 200 a week, with roughly 120 to 150 messages and profile visits a day. Pro is lower: 11 invitations a day, or 300 a month. The system randomizes the daily amount between 80 and 100% of the maximum, and the quotas sit on top of LinkedIn's own limits, so actions stop when either is hit.
HeyReach publishes no numbers. Its pricing page says only that each sender is kept within daily limits and safe usage levels. That is not a criticism of safety, just a gap in what you can verify before buying.
Agencies and Multi-Account Setups
This is where the tools diverge most. HeyReach is organised around many senders: it rotates sending across connected accounts, gives client workspaces with permissions, includes one white-label on Agency, and adds extra brands at $500 each on Unlimited. Clients, teammates and VAs are free. Waalaxy offers a team workspace with roles, shared lists and campaigns, but multiple sender accounts are Business-only, and we found no white-label or client-management feature on its pages.
If you are weighing the cost of running LinkedIn for clients versus buying it as a service, our LinkedIn lead generation agency pricing guide lays out the numbers. For a related agency-focused comparison, see HeyReach vs Expandi.
Inbox, Email and Voice Notes
HeyReach has a unified inbox across all senders, supports voice notes, and adds sentiment analysis and warm-lead tagging on replies. It does not send cold email itself; email steps run through its Instantly, Smartlead and EmailBison integrations. Waalaxy lists a Smart Inbox with saved replies and scheduling, shown as a €20 a month add-on, and we could not confirm whether it is shared across team members. Waalaxy does send cold email natively on Business, with an Email Finder (a 61%+ match rate is a vendor claim (directional)).
If you want LinkedIn and email in one tool for a small team, Waalaxy Business is simpler. If you already run Smartlead or Instantly for email, HeyReach slots in beside them. Our cold email vs LinkedIn outreach guide explains when to run each channel.
Integrations and CRM Sync
Waalaxy lists two-way native sync with HubSpot and Pipedrive, inbound-only Salesforce, Zapier and an API. Its data connections, including Clay, Apollo, Lusha and Attio, are inbound only. HeyReach lists HubSpot, Clay, Zapier, Make, n8n, an API, webhooks, an MCP server and a CLI, and it can import leads from Sales Navigator, Clay and HubSpot.
For Clay-first teams, HeyReach is the smoother route; our guide to pushing Clay leads to HeyReach shows how. For HubSpot, see HeyReach and HubSpot and syncing outreach data to HubSpot. Neither tool lists Close CRM, so Close teams should read HeyReach and Close and test a webhook or Zapier route first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to keep my browser open for Waalaxy?
No. Waalaxy's help center says that since July 2026 it runs fully in the cloud, with the Chrome extension removed, and campaigns run whatever your browser is doing. You still need a LinkedIn account. Older articles that describe Waalaxy as extension-based are out of date.
Which is better for an agency managing several clients?
HeyReach is built for it, with client workspaces, one white-label on Agency, free client seats and a unified inbox. Waalaxy offers multiple sender accounts only on Business and we found no white-label option on its pages.
Does either tool send cold email?
Waalaxy does on its Business plan, along with an Email Finder. HeyReach does not send email natively; it connects to Instantly, Smartlead and EmailBison for email steps.
What LinkedIn limits apply to each tool?
Waalaxy lists 100 invitations a day and 200 a week on Advanced and Business, and 11 a day or 300 a month on Pro. HeyReach keeps senders within “safe usage levels” but publishes no figures. Both sit under LinkedIn's own limits, so see our LinkedIn outreach limits guide.
Which is cheaper, HeyReach or Waalaxy?
For one or two accounts, Waalaxy is cheaper on list price at €19 to €69 per user per month against HeyReach's $79 per sender, or $63 yearly. At agency scale HeyReach's flat Agency ($999) and Unlimited ($2,999) tiers can work out cheaper per account. Confirm both pricing pages before buying.
Which integrates better with my CRM?
Both list HubSpot, Zapier and an API. Waalaxy adds native Pipedrive and inbound Salesforce; HeyReach adds Clay, Make, n8n, webhooks and an MCP server. Neither lists Close, so Close teams need a webhook or Zapier route.
